The Boardwalk Inn

Great value for the price. Room was very clean and looked new. Blankets, towels, linens all higher quality than expected. Easy access to the beach, and walking distance to several good restaurants (Nollie’s was, as always, terrific and practically across the street). Easy contactless check-in, check-out. Only caution is that, as advertised, it’s hard to see the ocean and no private balconies. Also, the room we chose (#12) was a little small for the two of us, and we should have selected a larger room with a table and chairs. Next time!

Stayed 1 night in standard queen room while waiting for our other accommodations at another location (arrived earlier than expected). Room was nice, recently updated with nice decor. No carpet whi h was great, hate carpet at beach. Had everything we needed for overnight stay. Clean, smelled nice, comfortable bed. Others have complained about loud music from Seawitch but not a problem for us. AC was very loud and would definitely be an issue if we were staying longer. Overall met our needs for short stay & would return.

This place is super nice appears to be freshly remodeled. We are very pleased with it. No problems here. Also customer service is alive and well here assure you.

We had an amazing stay!! The hotel is located right in front of the ocean. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having the beach just steps away made it incredibly special. The room was clean, stylish, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Everything felt peaceful and easy, exactly what we needed. We’d definitely come back!

This cozy oceanfront stay was absolutely amazing! It was extremely hard to find any dog friendly places that don’t have a weight limit. I have the kindest 80 pound boy and a sweet, slightly anxious 60 pound girl we got from our local shelter. To finally be able to take them to the beach and give them that experience was wonderful. The place was very clean, had cool A/C, hot water, functional stove, microwave, convenient sized fridge, suitcase stands, a smart TV, pots & pans, all the works! Just what we needed for our stay. There was even a broom we used to sweep up all of the dog hair. We were able to keep in contact with the owners and ask questions. Exceptional customer service, excellent room for us and our large dogs, right by the beach. Perfect. We will be staying here again! (Photos are from when we were leaving our stay)

I stayed here for a quick getaway weekend and it was absolutely fantastic. The view was fantastic. The rooms were clean anything you needed they were on it. I will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend it after during the summer you have to see, which is right across the street to me. The number one restaurant and nightlife in Carolina Beach. You would want to go to. I have also stayed at their motel in Kerri Beach and highly recommend that one also very clean. Pool was fantastic. I'm coming back in the fall or late summer and definitely will be staying at the Broadwalk Inn

I’ve stayed at their other properties on the island and we loved it so much we wanted to stay at their other locations. They’re always so clean and comfortable feeling. I love how they’re all pet friendly. I loved being right on the beach but still had a pool option. We are big on staying at local places. These properties are always nicely decorated and doesn’t have that stuffy chain hotel feel. I like to spend my money at local businesses so that it stays in the local economy not in some shareholders pockets at corporate hotels.

We just stayed here 5/22-5/24 after a recent remodel and wow. You can tell the new owners take pride in what they do. This place is so cute, clean, well maintained, the staff friendly, etc. I can tell a lot has been done to the outside common areas but the rooms are also totally redone. The decor is very boutique and rare for this lower price point motel. The beds are super comfy. Other reviews mention the rooms being small, my room was average motel room sized it had the best view of the ocean, so I didn’t even care if it was small. Perfect sized kitchenette with everything I would ever need (wine opener!) waiting to be used. Literally ON the boardwalk, can’t get closer to the action! We watched the fireworks on the beach last night. I loved this place, we decided this is our new go to for Carolina Beach <3
